The CT League of Conservation Voters recently released its scorecard of Connecticut legislators
State Senator Toni Boucher (R-26) was recognized for achieving a perfect 100 percent voting record on bills scored by the League during the 2014 session. Boucher scored high marks on a number of legislative initiatives, including her effort to promote land preservation, improve statewide water planning, and reduce air pollution.
“Protecting our environment is one of the most important things we do as legislators,” said Sen. Boucher. “Clean air and clean water is a matter of public health and safety. Preserving our beautiful state’s environmental assets has been and will continue to be my priority. Thanks to the advocacy of legislative watchdogs like the League of Conservation Voters, Connecticut continues to set a positive example for the rest of the country on important environmental policies. I am honored to again be recognized as a pro-environment policymaker.”
